This is a small game of throwing a snowball, competing against a computer opponent.

User uses the left and right arrows to aim, and the up and down arrows to control the power of their throw.

๐Ÿงฉ How It Works (The Logic)

The codes uses some simple physics to throw a snowball in a curve.

There is also a computer opponent which makes random throws.

The game also includes start and end screens.

๐Ÿงฉ How It Works (The Logic)

I'm using a simple bar with a gap which appears at a random position on the X axis so that the gap moves around.

The player's ball is always falling and can be moved through the gaps.

๐Ÿž What I Still Want To Improve

  • I want to add a score system and a way for the player to win or lose.
  • The ball should fall more naturally.

๐ŸŽฎ About My Project

Work in progress version of the Korean Sadaritagi (์‚ฌ๋‹ค๋ฆฌํƒ€๊ธฐ "ladder climbing") game. It's kind of game to create random pairings. In this version a cat randomly starts at one of the four legs and will randomly end up at one of the four end points due to the randomly placed ladder legs.

It is also known in Japanese as Amidakuji (้˜ฟๅผฅ้™€็ฑค; "Amida lottery") and in Chinese as Guijiaotu (Chinese: ้ฌผ่…ณๅœ–, ย "ghost leg diagram").ย 

๐Ÿงฉ How It Works (The Logic)

The code draws the ladders by drawing the vertical lines and randomly placed horizontal lines to connect the different "legs".

It cat moves downwards and uses the green and purple dots on the connecting legs to move between the legs.

๐Ÿž What I Want to Improve

The cat should make a combination for each starting and ending position.
